Ice & Water
We provide plenty of water and Gatorade at the field. In addition, campers may purchase bottled water and Gatorade from the camp store at night. If your camper requires ice for an injury, please make sure they speak to our athletic trainers at the field and not at the dorm.
Allergies & Medications
An athletic trainer will be available at Check In to discuss individual medical needs as well as collect any medications such as epi-pens and refrigerated prescriptions. It is at the parent’s discretion whether the trainer administers medication or if it’s the camper’s responsibility.
We will have at least one female camp coach or dorm supervisor on each floor of the camp dorms to stay overnight. Each room may be locked from the inside and only campers have a key to their rooms. Campers lock their rooms at night and when exiting the dorms. Dorm exterior doors are locked and accessible only via key card.
In the heat of the summer the dorms can be a little warm due to activity and number of campers. Campers are encouraged to keep their door closed during any down time and a box or standing fan is recommended.
If we have lightening campers will be moved inside as quickly as possible to the closest area. These safe areas include the lock room at the soccer stadium, the main athletic building and the dorms. If we have extreme heat (typically in the afternoon session) our trainer will indicate if we have to go inside and for how long. Our session will be modified for player safety and we will move inside for video/rest. In the event of poor weather we will do everything policy to keep each event on. We will also have an indoor option. In the event the weather causes a cancellation of an any camp or clinic the registration fee can be transferred into another camper/clinic date in the same year.
We provide an optional camp bank. You can deposit money for your camper to use throughout camp at the camp store (the usual amount is somewhere between $20-$60). Your camper may use the camp bank money on pizza, snacks, or apparel. If you are interested in using the camp bank, please see the bank station at check in.
Camp bank refund policy- Camp bank must be collected at check out.
We will have a camp store open in the dorm during down time. Campers can purchase pizza (whole or by the slice), snacks, Gatorade, water, and etc.
A $50 fee will be charged at check-out to any camper that loses their room key.
Campers are assigned roommates based on their request during the registration process. If you’re not coming with a roommate, we will assign a roommate of similar age. If you would like to change/add your roommate, we must be notified at least one week prior to check in to accommodate the request.
Commuters during our residential camps commuters should be dropped/picked up at the dorms at the start/end of the day. During time after their meals all commuters will be able to stay in the dorm.
During time between sessions commuters can stay in lounges or in another player roon. If they choose to shower they must leave bags/items in a players room or the lounge.
For campers flying into CLT we offer a airport transportation either for pick up ($30) drop off ($30) or round trip ($50)
Flight travel should be based around each camp/clinic schedule. Davidson Campus is located 30-45 minutes from CLT airport.
